My Disney Fashion

Minnie Mouse Ears: Disneyland
 Sweater: H&M
Leggings: Brandy Meville
Purse: Chanel
Boots: Soda

The temperature has been dropping the past two weeks, so I can finally start wearing my sweaters and boots! Thanks to this ridiculous change in weather, I am just recovering from the flu. =( These pictures were taken from last weekend. My photographer was my boyfriend! Bless him, because I'm not easy to work with behind the camera. I can be quite awkward and shy. But hey, we all have to start somewhere, right? I'm going to have to start learning how to take photos of myself hehe.

Oh! I now have 102 gorgeous followers! Thank you so much for all the love and support!!! I'll be having my winter giveaway some time next month, so stay tuned for that!

Sweet and Simple

Lately, I've been dabbling in home manicures. Nothing fancy, but simple and pretty. I don't have enough funds yet to buy a lot of nail products, but I've been experimenting with a few nail colors that I already have. For those of you who love to do your nails and can't invest a lot of money in it, just go to your local drug store and pick out some of your favorite colors! Sephora nail colors by O.P.I are not that pricey either and are good quality!

Colors are used are Dear and Cinderella's Bibbidi, Bobbidi, Pink! You can purchase these from Sephora. This was inspired by Princess Aurora.

Colors I  used are Cinderella's Self-Maid Millionaire and Rags to Rhinestones.  Inspired by Princess Belle.
I've always been more of a make up girl, than a manicure girl, but it's actually a lot of fun! I can't wait to be more adventurous with colors and designs. Do you have any manicure tips? Leave a comment! Have a good weekend, Princesses!

Ice Skating at Downtown Disney

Looking for something extra special to do this holiday season at Downtown Disney? Good news! With the release of Tinkerbell's latest movie, "Secret of the Wings", Downtown Disney introduces an ice skating rink! Guests can enjoy skating to a special soundtrack, ambient lighting, and really celebrate the spirit of winter. This is perfect for children and adults who are not familiar with ice skating and snow. Mandatory helmets and wrist guards gloves  will be given to guests and skating shoes are available for rent. The skating rink is open till January 6th.

More exciting news! There are plans to open a Holiday Village next to the rink, where Disney fans can enjoy holiday themed treats and beverages, along with merchandise. I'm so excited and I cannot wait to check it out!

Are any of you planning to visit Disneyland for the holidays? Leave a comment! I always reply!

Paperman and Wreck-it-Ralph: A Review!

Wreck-it-Ralph...an adventure of 8-bit teamed up with visually exploding 3D graphics. It's a movie that echoes childhood memories of endless amount of time spent in front of the television playing on a retro console. Aside from making one feel very nostalgic and itching to play old school games of better times; Wreck-it-Ralph is charming, cleverly funny, and a surprisingly touching film. Its story line has a resonating message: It's okay to be yourself. That's what made the film emotional for me.

The cherry on top of the cake that is Wreck-it-Ralph is Disney's short film, Paperman. It was beautiful and enthralling to watch. Dialogue was not necessary in this short by Disney, because all the emotions exuded from the two main characters. Ever think why silent black and white films were a hit with people during the time? It's because of the music and the essence of the characters that grips us and draws us in. For Paperman, Disney used a brilliant technology called Meander. It's a genius concoction of 2D drawing mixed with CG. Meander breathed life into the characters making them engaging to watch, without sacrificing the romantic look of hand drawn animation. In my opinion, it's pure Disney renaissance. Without giving too much away... it's a love story that provokes the question of: "What if that person was the one for me?"

Disney truly wowed me with Wreck-it-Ralph and Paperman. I cannot wait to see what brilliant and exciting new things they'll bring out with next. If you haven't seen Wreck-it-Ralph yet, please do! You won't be disappointed!

If you've already seen the film, what did you think of it? Did you enjoy it? Share your thoughts! I love hearing from all of you.

Alice in Wonderland Look

Alice in Wonderland is a quirky story full of vibrant characters. I remember when I saw Tim Burton's version of the story, I was completely in love with every single outfit Alice wore in the movie. Here are several items I picked out to create a more sophisticated every day wear for Alice.

I feel like if Alice were living in the real modern world, she would keep her look very feminine. Think pearls, ribbons, and rosettes!

All items are from Forever21.com. And the beauty of forever21 is...most of their clothes are affordable!

Have any tips for a Disney inspired fashion look? Just leave a comment! Have a great weekend, Princesses!

The Loveliness of Cinderella!

Last weekend, my boyfriend and I celebrated our two year anniversary! And as an anniversary gift, he took me to Disneyland, and surprised me with the Sephora's Cinderella limited edition nail polish set, and the perfume "So This Is Love". Check it out, Princesses!

For my first mani with the Cinderella, A Brush With Fate nail polish set, I used these colors. The dark blue is called  "Blue My Curfew" and the glittery silver blue  is "So Totally Enchanted". I love the names!

I love the Blue My Curfew. It's so rich and lustrous.

I used the Totally Enchanted on my thumb nail only to contrast the look.

I can't wait to try out the other colors! I'm still a beginner at manicures, so please feel free to give me any tips!
Look at the beautiful bottle design!

I LOVE the So This Is Love perfume. The scent is delicate and romantic. It lasts throughout the day and well into the night.

Remember to buy Cinderella on Blu-Ray before it  goes back into the Disney Vault! Special features includes the short movie, Tangled Ever After; a behind the scenes look at the construction of the new Fantasyland at Walt Disney World and much more!
As always, please share your thoughts! I always reply back to everyone. Thanks, lovelies!
